Our first Scholastic Bookfair will take place September 9^th-19^th from 8:40am-4:00pm. The money earned will be used to purchase library books that are new to our popular series collections (like Cruel Crown). Mark your calendars for December 8^th because that is our Barnes and Noble in-store bookfair. Another Scholastic Bookfair will also be held in May. Banned Books Week is September 26^th-30^th. Teen Read Week is October 10^th-14^th. The theme is Read for the Fun of It @ Your Library. Lunchtime special events will take place in the library that week to celebrate. Students must sign up on our library blog in advance to be eligible to participate (more details to come soon).

FYI- All ELA classes visit the library once every 4 weeks. Book check-out is for 4 weeks at a time. Students may check out as many books as they want. Late fees are $.05 per book per day. The library hours are as follows:

Monday                          8:40-9:00am     3:21-3:31pm

Tuesday-Thursday          8:40-9:00am     3:21-4:00pm

Friday                              8:40-9:00am     Closed Afterschool

We are also open during all lunches, if there is not a class being instructed in the library during that time. Students must obtain a pass to visit the library at any time. A limited number of passes will be handed out on a daily basis. Afterschool passes for Tuesday – Thursday will be handed out the day before by Mrs. Baca. Drop-ins will not be accepted.
