Below are some of the upcoming events taking place at the Centennial Hills Library-

On Thursday, March 8, at 4:30 p.m., David Allen from the Anthem Institute will be presenting a program on how to research financial aid needs online. He will demonstrate a web site that allows students to figure out what their financial needs will be and what options are available to help tme meet those needs.

On Friday, March 9, at 4 p.m., they will be having a Doctor Who papercraft party. Fans of the popular British science fiction show can make paper models of characters from the show. We will also have a Doctor Who trivia contest with special prizes.

Finally, on Saturday, March 10, they will host the March meeting of our Teen Book Club. This month, we will be talking about The Adoration of Jenna Fox by Mary Pearson.

They are continuing thier popular Teen Tuesdays program as well. Every Tuesday afternoon from 3-5, they open up thier story room to teens 11-17. They play games on the Wii, play board games, and use our supplies for arts and crafts.

This month, they are also adding a new series of programs. Starting on Friday, March 23, and then the second and fourth Friday of every month, they will have Connect with Kinect for Teens. Teens 13-17 can come in and play Kinect X-Box games.

Finally, looking ahead to the beginning of April, they will be hosting a teen art camp during spring break, from April 2-4. At the art camp, teens will learn about the Impressionist painters, and use their techniques to create their own masterpieces.
