CCLA Library Blog Training

On September 15, 2009 I held a blog training at the Clark County Librarians Association meeting. The objective of the training was to define what a blog is and how it can be utilized in the library setting. We explored the Edublogs site so that each librarian would be equipt with the tools to start their own free blog at a later date. It was my hope that we can build a community of CCSD librarians that will use blogs to communicate with their students, staff, community and other librarians. Below you will find some tools that were utilized during that meeting.

Emily- Northwest does not have a blog yet. Mrs. Nelson is very interested in starting one though. I called her and mentioned that you would make a perfect Blogmaster. :) She said “send her in”. So head over to your library, introduce yourself and tell her I sent you.
