Sea Life
For the next few weeks the library will have another Museum Without Walls display called Sea Life. A Giant Clam and Green Sea Turtle Shell are just a few of the cool items you can see. Come by to learn more about the creatures of the sea and then check out a book to learn more.

Who Am I?
1. I can grow to be about 400 pounds. I have flippers instead of legs to help me swim. I am on the endangered species list for people want by skin and shell. Who am I?
2. I’m a small fish with a pouch that I use to protect my eggs and babies after they hatch. Who am I?
3. I have a little baby animal inside of me. The mother animal hangs me on a piece of sea weed and leaves me to develop by myself. What am I?
4. All that’s left of me is my skeleton. If I have the right kind of skeleton, people can use me to wash things. Who am I?
5. People drill a hole ib me and blow on me like a horn. I’m made by a big snail. Who am I?
6. Most people put me in the bird cage for the bird sharpens his beak on me. I am really the inside shell of an octopus- like animal. Who am I?
7. I build a tube around myself that I live in. It protects me from being eaten by other animals. Who am I?
8. The animals in my group sometimes look like pin cushions although we have a hard shell (called a test) and sometimes have spines that stick out all over. We belong to the sea star group. Who am I?
9. I puff myself up with air to protect myself. It makes my spines stand up and animals can’t bite me. Who am I?
10. I am a tiny animal related to the jellyfish and I can sting just like they can. I like to have many neighbors and we all build houses that attach to each other to form a hard, rock-like mass. Who am I?
