Circulation Stats UP, UP, UP
As of today, January 15, 2009, Escobedo has circulated 10,461 books from August to present. That is more then double from the total Esco circulations for the 2007-08 school year. Wow! Way to go students- keep reading those books and visiting the library! Mrs. Vaughan’s period 1 and period 5 classes hold our top homeroom circulations. Daniel E. is our top patron for circulation for this school year with 112 books checked out. New Moon by Stephenie Meyer is our #1 circulated book.

how many boook were circulated last year because if our number so far is double that there must not have been that many!

Cassi- 9,500 books were circulated over the course of the entire school year for 07-08 and we are at 10,500 for 08-09 so far. I say we doubled circulation because the school year is only half way over at this point. So my hopes are that we hit at least 20,000 circulations by the end of this year. That is a goal that I have set for us. If we make that goal we will have doubled our circulation statistics.

WOW! That’s a whole lot of books that have been checked out! Plus, New Moon has been passed back and forth so many times! It must be really hard to find!

Rachel- if you want to read New Moon and it isn’t in, you could place a hold on it. Just a thought…
