YALSA Teen Tech Week

So Teen Tech Week is officially March 9th-13th but that is the same week as CRT testing. So we have decided to move our celebration to March 16th-20th. Teen Tech Week is a week where we celebrate technology in all its forms. The Young Adult Library Services Association sponsers this week each year. The theme for 2009 is Press Play @ Your Library. During that time, we encourage people to participate in activities that incorporate computers, MP3’s, gaming, etc. Fun activities are being planned as I write this. Some lunchtime activities include: a texting contest, Internet scavenger hunt, gaming day, laptops at luunch, and a Wii party. If you have a great ideas to share, send me a comment on this post. Did you know that we have a Teen Tech Week blog? Goto the Escobedo home page- Boxer Blogs to check it out.
