On November 14th thirty-two lucky students that completed their Reading Rocks cards got to come to the Wii Rock Band Party. From 11-12am we rocked out on the Wii in the library. From beginners to the experts, teams were formed with a singer, drummer and guitarist. We had a good time playing and eating lunch together.

Students who completed their cards: Sam C, Kara S., Alexandra A., Kelsey E., Emily A., Robert W., Courtney L., Davion M., Kiley B., Nicolette D., Chet D., Jordan M., Briana H., Mikayla E., Imari R., Rachel S., Keeonah A., Darrian T., Gabrielle A., Katie S., Eli B., Hannah A., Dylan M., Ethan K., Cassi M., Elijah L., Savannah H., Taylor H., Terrell H., Laron G., Daniel H., and Jasen J.

The highlight was when Emily A. announced that she received a call from KLUC and was a Grand Prize winner for their Reading Rocks drawing. On Monday, November 17th at 5:30pm at the E. Flamingo Library Emily will recieve her prize backpack. Anyone is invited to the awards ceremony and Emily would love the support! Some of her prizes include: an Ipod, gift cards to Boarders, Target and Walmart. Congratulations Emily!
